Only to find out our graduate programs had us working 300ft away from one another! On our first date, we went out for Thai and Kevin snuck the first kiss. It was only after a home made dinner, an exchange of dog treats, and some hover board tricks we knew we had something special. On April 2, 2016 we decided to make it official and become a couple. December 5, 2016 we defended our PhD dissertations and graduated from UC Riverside. On January 16, 2018, the second anniversary of our first date, Kevin proposed at Sunset Cliffs and we began to plan our future in beautiful San Diego, California.
